Welcome to the Jungle MCP: your hiring pipeline in Claude and ChatGPT (2026)

Prompt template

In our Welcome to the Jungle ATS, find everyone who applied to job since date, read their resumes and messages, tell me who is waiting for an answer, and move the ones I approve to stage.

Overview

Hiring on Welcome to the Jungle means living in its recruiter dashboard: new applications, resumes to read, candidates waiting for an answer, cards to move, the same three emails sent again and again. An AI agent could do most of it, but your ATS is out of its reach.

Why it's hard

The Welcome Kit API is not self-serve: you request a token from Welcome to the Jungle, and some scopes need partner approval. Without it, every tool that reads your pipeline is a dead end, and the hosted MCP connectors built on that API need the same access. The dashboard itself is a kanban per job, so even a question like "who applied this week, across all our jobs?" is a manual round.

How Reduck does it

Reduck is an MCP server whose Welcome to the Jungle scripts run in your own Chrome, signed in as your recruiter seat. Your agent sees what you see in the dashboard and does what you can do there, one script at a time, only when asked. The Reduck team runs its own hiring through these scripts: hundreds of stage moves and candidate emails since June 2026.

A typical morning, in one request:

  1. List notifications shows who wrote since yesterday, and Search all candidates who applied, across every job.
  2. Get a candidate, Download a resume and Read a candidate's messages give the agent the full picture of each person.
  3. The agent sums up each candidate and proposes the next step. You say yes or no.
  4. Move to a pipeline stage and Send a template email apply what you approved.

What your agent does

  • List your jobs with their pipeline stages and candidate counts
  • Search candidates across every job at once, or list one job's pipeline
  • Read a candidate's full card: profile, cover letter, screening answers, timeline, reviews
  • Download resumes and read the email thread with each candidate
  • Read your notification feed: new applications, replies, pipeline events
  • Move candidates between stages, including your own custom columns
  • Send emails from your saved templates, with the variables filled in by Welcome to the Jungle

FAQ

No. Welcome to the Jungle has not published an MCP server. Hosted connectors such as StackOne offer one built on the Welcome Kit API, which needs API access from Welcome to the Jungle. Reduck is an MCP server too, and its Welcome to the Jungle scripts run in your own signed-in browser instead.
No. The Welcome Kit API is not self-serve: you request a token from Welcome to the Jungle, and some scopes need partner approval. Reduck needs none of it. You stay signed in to the recruiter dashboard, and each script does what your seat can do there.
Yes, from your saved templates. The agent picks the template, Welcome to the Jungle fills its variables for the candidate as when you send it yourself, and the email goes from your recruiter account onto the candidate's timeline. It is a real email, so ask your agent to show you the list before it sends.
Yes. Move to a pipeline stage takes a built-in stage (new, to meet, refused, hired...) or one of your own columns, and checks the card actually moved. Rejecting is a move to Refused. The refusal email is a separate step, sent from your Refused template only if you ask.
Yes. Reduck connects to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and any other MCP client. You ask in plain words, and the agent chains the scripts it needs.
In your own Chrome, with the Reduck extension, where you are already signed in to Welcome to the Jungle. If your seat signs in with Google and the session has expired, Sign in with Google reopens it with the Google account you name. Most scripts take your organisation reference, the code in your dashboard URL.
The agent sees only what your recruiter seat already sees. Script results go to your AI assistant and are kept in your Reduck run history, and downloaded resumes are saved on the machine running the agent. You remain responsible for your candidates' data, as with any tool you add to your hiring.
No. Reduck is an independent tool. Its scripts use the recruiter dashboard the way you do, one action at a time and only when asked, under your own seat; check that this fits your agreement with Welcome to the Jungle.
