reduck Terms of Service

Services

These Terms apply to any access to or use of the Services. Where reduck processes personal data on Your behalf as Data Processor, contact support@reduck.ai to enter a Data Processing Agreement. For data We process as Data Controller, see Our Privacy Policy at reduck.ai/privacy-policy. In case of conflict, these Terms prevail, except where a Data Processing Agreement or Privacy Policy expressly states otherwise.

reduck is a browser automation extension and CLI. An Automation Flow ("Flow") is a sequence of automated actions executed in Your browser per Your instructions, via a browser extension or CLI tool. We do not store Your website credentials on Our servers. Flows may authenticate on Your behalf via Single Sign-On or one-time passwords; reduck is not designed to handle or transmit credentials directly.

SDK and Extension Installation

Installation of Our browser extension or CLI tool on Your device constitutes a deposit of software within the meaning of applicable e-Privacy regulations and requires Your prior informed consent. Two distinct consents apply: (1) consent to install the extension on Your device, and (2) consent to data collection beyond what is strictly necessary to perform the Services. You may install and use the extension without consenting to optional data collection; that consent is requested separately and is never pre-checked. Withdrawal of data collection consent does not require uninstallation of the extension. For details on what data We collect and Your rights, see Our Privacy Policy at reduck.ai/privacy-policy.

Caching

Successful Flow executions may be stored as Cached Patterns to optimize future similar tasks. You may opt out of contributing Your patterns to the shared Cache.

Browser Control and SSO

When a Flow runs, reduck acts in Your name using Your active browser session, including all authentication tokens present. reduck can only see and interact with tabs that it has itself opened; it has no access to tabs You already have open. Because Your session may contain tokens for multiple services linked via Single Sign-On, a Flow that opens a new tab may incidentally access connected services beyond what You explicitly intended. All actions performed by Flows are legally attributed to You. reduck can take screenshots during execution; recordings may capture any visible content and can be stored for debugging and security purposes.

Website

reduck.ai is accessible without an Account. All site content is owned by Conception AI Inc. You may not reproduce or create derivative works without prior written consent.

Creating an Account

To access reduck, You must create an Account and provide accurate, complete information. If You create an Account on behalf of an entity, You must have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your credentials and for all activities under Your Account. Use a strong, unique password, enable two-factor authentication when available, and notify Us immediately at support@reduck.ai of any unauthorized access or security breach.

Subscriptions and Payment

Plans, pricing, and credit allocations are available at reduck.ai/pricing and subject to change. All fees are in U.S. dollars, exclusive of taxes. By subscribing, You authorize recurring charges to Your payment method without prior approval per cycle; You may cancel at any time through Your Account settings. Payments are processed by third-party processors; We are not responsible for their errors. No refunds are provided for unused credits or partial billing periods.

Beta Period

The Free plan provides a certain amount of Credits on a rolling 30-day basis. We may transition to general availability at any time. During beta, the Services may be unstable, features may change without notice, data may be lost, accounts may be reset, and no uptime guarantees apply.

Beta Monitoring

We rely on legitimate interest as the legal basis for this processing: comprehensive monitoring is strictly necessary during beta to ensure the reliability, security, and functional integrity of the Services, and cannot be achieved through less intrusive means at this stage of development. This level of access will not be maintained after the beta period ends. Upon transition to general availability, a Privacy Mode will be available in Your Account settings, allowing You to prevent Us from accessing the content of Your Flow executions for any purpose beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the Services. Do not use the beta Services for critical operations or to process sensitive regulated data (health, financial, government IDs).

Data Retention

Flow execution logs are retained for up to two (2) years; after ninety (90) days, all user-identifiable information is anonymized, and only aggregate or anonymized data is retained thereafter. Cached Patterns are retained for up to one (1) year. You may request deletion of Your personal data at support@reduck.ai; We will respond within thirty (30) days.

Automatic Flow Execution

Due to the experimental nature of the extension, Flows may occasionally execute unintentionally as a result of technical errors. While We work to prevent such occurrences, You remain responsible for actions initiated through Your Account. To minimize risk, We recommend disabling or uninstalling the extension when not actively using it, or using a dedicated browser profile for reduck. reduck shall use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unintended executions and will promptly notify affected users when such events are detected.

Your Use of the Services

License Grant

Subject to these Terms, We grant You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for Your personal or internal business purposes.

Prohibited Uses

You shall not:

• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
• Access computer systems without authorization or circumvent security measures
• Collect or process sensitive personal data (health, financial, government IDs) without proper authorization
• Send spam, distribute malware, or engage in fraud or phishing
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Services
• Overburden or interfere with Our systems or networks
• Sell, rent, or sublicense access to the Services
• Scrape third-party websites in violation of their terms, or bypass rate limits, paywalls, or robots.txt directives
• Create multiple Accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Access other users' Accounts or data without authorization
• Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious software through the Services
• Attempt unauthorized access to Our systems, networks, or infrastructure

High-Risk Use Cases

Third-Party Websites

You are solely responsible for complying with the terms of service and policies of third-party websites You access through the Services, and for ensuring You have the legal right to automate interactions with them. reduck is a general-purpose automation tool; any use that violates a third party's terms of service, robots.txt directives, or applicable law is Your sole responsibility. We are not liable for any claims arising from Your automated interactions with third-party websites.

Third-Party AI Agents

reduck may be used with third-party AI agents or orchestration frameworks ("Sub-Party Agents"), such as NanoClaw, OpenClaw, or similar tools, that issue instructions to reduck on Your behalf.

Instruction Chain

reduck executes actions based solely on the instructions it receives and has no visibility into the internal logic or state of any Sub-Party Agent. You are solely responsible for all actions reduck takes as a result of instructions issued by a Sub-Party Agent You have authorized, including failures caused by bugs, misconfiguration, prompt injection, or model hallucination.

No Endorsement

reduck does not endorse or warrant the reliability of any Sub-Party Agent. You agree to indemnify Conception AI Inc. from any claims arising from Sub-Party Agent use, including actions reduck executed in good faith on that agent's instructions.

Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate Your Account immediately, without prior notice, if You violate these Terms, pose a security or legal risk, engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior, or if required by law. Upon termination for cause, no refund will be provided.

Disclaimers and Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce accurate results.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REDUCK AND CONCEPTION AI INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) FEES PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless reduck, Conception AI Inc., and our officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your use or misuse of the Services, Your violation of these Terms, Your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws, any Flows You create or execute, or any data You submit through the Services.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in state or federal courts in Delaware, and You consent to their jurisdiction. We may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect Our intellectual property.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify You of material changes by email to the address associated with Your Account at least thirty (30) days before the effective date. Updated Terms will also be posted at reduck.ai and the Version Effective Date will be updated accordingly. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If You do not agree, You must stop using the Services.

Miscellaneous

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver. These Terms, together with Our Privacy Policy and any incorporated agreements, constitute the entire agreement between You and Us. You may not assign these Terms without Our written consent; We may assign without restriction. Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, or employment relationship.

Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, strikes, third-party service outages, or infrastructure failures. The affected party shall notify the other party promptly and use commercially reasonable efforts to resume performance.

Privacy and Data Protection

Consent — Two Distinct Steps

SDK / Extension Installation (e-Privacy): Before We deposit any software on Your device, We will request Your explicit prior consent. This consent is separate from any data collection consent and is not pre-checked or pre-granted. You may not be required to consent to data collection in order to install the extension, but certain features may be unavailable without it.

Data Collection (GDPR): A separate opt-in consent is required before We collect any personal or navigational data beyond what is strictly necessary to perform the Services. This consent is not pre-checked. You may withdraw it at any time via Your Account settings, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Strictly Necessary Data

Certain data — such as Your account identifier and the identity of the device connected — is collected on the basis of contractual necessity and does not require separate consent.

Legitimate Interest

We may process Flow execution data without consent when strictly required to detect, investigate, or resolve a technical failure or security incident, provided processing is limited in scope and duration to what is necessary to restore or maintain the Service. This basis does not extend to service improvement, model training, or feature development.

Model Training and Service Development

We do not currently train AI models on Your data. Should We do so in the future, Your explicit consent will be required prior to any such use, separate from the consents above.

Transparency

We collect the following categories of data: execution logs, screenshots, browser actions, and device identifiers. We use this data for: service delivery, debugging, security, and — with Your consent — service improvement. We share data only with the subprocessors listed below. Retention periods are as stated in the Beta Period section above.

Data Subject Rights (GDPR)

If You are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, You have the right to access, rectify, restrict processing of, and receive a portable copy of Your personal data (GDPR Articles 15–20), in addition to the right to deletion described above. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@reduck.ai; We will respond within thirty (30) days.

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information We collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. For full details, see Our Privacy Policy at reduck.ai/privacy-policy.

Right to Withdraw Consent

You may withdraw any consent at any time via Your Account settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach, We will notify the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay and no later than seventy-two (72) hours after becoming aware of the breach. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to Your rights and freedoms, We will also notify You without undue delay, providing details of the nature of the breach, the likely consequences, and the measures taken or proposed to address it.
