Careers page job alerts: get notified when a company posts a new job (2026)

Prompt template

Every morning, check the careers pages of companies for new jobs that match roles in locations. Send me only the jobs I have not seen yet, with the title, the location and the link to apply.

Overview

Careers page job alerts for job seekers: every morning, your AI agent checks the careers pages of the companies you want to join and tells you when one of them posts a new job that fits your role and location.

Without it, you open each careers page by hand, every few days, hoping not to miss the role that fits. Job site alerts help, but they show every job that matches a keyword, at every company, and only the jobs that reach that site.

Why it's hard

Each careers page has its own look, its own filters and no alert button. Many companies publish through an applicant tracking system, but you would have to know which one each company uses and read each board by hand. Page-change monitors exist, but they alert you on any change, not on the jobs that match you.

How Reduck does it

Your AI agent reads the public job board behind each careers page: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or Workable. Every morning it gets the full list of open jobs for every company on your list, with the title, team, location and link. It keeps the jobs it has not seen before, checks them against the roles and locations you want, and sends you the matches, so you can apply on the day the job is posted.

This is one part of job search automation: the same agent can also search LinkedIn, Indeed, Welcome to the Jungle and Glassdoor every morning.

What your agent does

  1. Find which job board each company on your list uses, from one of its job links
  2. Read every company's open jobs, each from its own board
  3. Keep only the jobs it has not sent you before
  4. Check each one against your roles, teams and locations, and drop the ones that miss
  5. Send you the matches with the title, the location and the link to apply

Who it's for

  • Job seekers with a short list of companies they want to join
  • Engineers, designers and product people targeting startups, which often hire through Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or Workable
  • Anyone who wants to know about a role at a target company without checking its careers page by hand

FAQ

Yes. Many companies publish their jobs through an applicant tracking system such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or Workable, and each one has a public job board. Your agent reads that board for every company on your list, keeps the jobs it has not sent you yet, and alerts you on the ones that match your role and location.
Open one of its job postings and look at the address: boards.greenhouse.io/<company> or job-boards.greenhouse.io/<company> is Greenhouse, jobs.lever.co/<company> is Lever, jobs.ashbyhq.com/<company> is Ashby, apply.workable.com/<company> is Workable. The part after the domain is the name your agent needs.
No. The four job boards are public: your agent reads the same list of open jobs that the careers page shows to any visitor, with no account and no key.
A page monitor tells you that something on the page changed: a new job, a removed job, a new banner. Your agent reads the jobs themselves, with their title, team and location, so it can drop the ones that do not match and send you only the new roles you would apply to.
These four scripts do not cover them. For such a company, your agent can read its careers page in the browser, or you can keep a LinkedIn alert filtered to that company.
A job site alert covers the jobs that reach that site. A careers page alert reads the company's own list of open jobs, so you see every job it publishes there, the morning after it appears. Use both: see the job search automation use case.
