How to download Slack invoices automatically (2026)

Prompt template

Download my Slack invoices for month and email them to accountant.

How to download Slack invoices automatically

Download your Slack invoices automatically with Reduck: your AI agent lists the billing statements of each Slack workspace, downloads the PDFs and emails them to your accountant, past months included. For founders, workspace owners and finance teams who pay for Slack and need every statement for the books.

TL;DR

  • Slack keeps one billing statement per month, under Admin → Manage billing → History, one month at a time.
  • One script lists a workspace's statements; one script downloads each PDF.
  • They run in your own signed-in Chrome, so no password leaves your computer.
  • Ask for one month, a whole year, or several workspaces at once.
  • Reduck gives your AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) the scripts to do it, free for 100 runs a month.

Why Slack invoices take time to collect

  • One month at a time. The History tab shows one statement per month, chosen in a calendar.
  • One workspace at a time. Each paid workspace has its own billing history.
  • Owners only. Only Workspace Owners (or the Org Primary Owner on Enterprise) open billing.
  • The email goes to the billing contacts. The months before your accountant was added as one are only in Slack.

Download Slack invoices by hand

  1. In Slack, click Admin in the sidebar, then Manage billing.
  2. Open the History tab, click the calendar icon, choose a month and click Go To.
  3. Download the statement.
  4. Do it again for each month and each workspace, then email the PDFs to your accountant.

Download Slack invoices automatically with Reduck

  1. Connect your agent to Reduck. In Claude Code: claude mcp add reduck --transport http --scope user https://mcp.reduck.ai. In claude.ai or Claude Desktop, add a custom connector with the URL https://mcp.reduck.ai. ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients work too.
  2. Install the Reduck extension in the Chrome where you are signed in to Slack as a Workspace Owner.
  3. Ask: "Download my Slack invoices for September and email them to [email protected]."
  4. The agent lists the statements. The Slack script reads the workspace's billing history and returns each statement's date, amount, status and download link.
  5. It downloads the PDFs and emails them from your Gmail, or saves them in a folder.
  6. Next month, ask again, or schedule the prompt.

Your other workspace app invoices

The same agent downloads Notion, Google Workspace, Atlassian, Asana and Linear invoices: see Notion invoices and workspace app invoices. For AI tools, see Cursor invoices. Comparing tools? See the GetMyInvoices alternative.

FAQ

In Slack, click Admin in the sidebar, select Manage billing, then open the History tab. Click the calendar icon, choose a month and click Go To: Slack shows that month's billing statement, which you can download.
Yes, to its billing contacts: Slack sends billing emails from [email protected], with the billing statement. To add a billing contact, open Admin, Manage billing, then the Contacts tab, and click Add a new billing contact. A billing contact can see billing statements but cannot change billing details.
Adding your accountant as a billing contact covers the statements to come. Reduck covers the rest: the months already issued, each workspace you pay for, and the PDFs filed in one place with your other SaaS invoices, from one prompt and without sorting a mailbox.
Workspace Owners, the member who upgraded the workspace, and on Enterprise the Org Primary Owner. The scripts run in the Chrome of one of them: a member without billing access sees no statements.
Yes. The list script reads one workspace at a time, your primary workspace by default, or the one you name (for example acme.slack.com). Ask for each workspace in the same prompt and the agent runs it once per workspace.
Yes. The list script returns the workspace's billing history, so ask for a year and the agent downloads each statement of that year, instead of picking the months one by one in the calendar.
Open Admin, Manage billing, then the Billing Details tab, and edit your company name, address and VAT ID. The change applies to future statements: Slack cannot edit a statement already issued if you pay by credit card.
No. The scripts run in your own Chrome, where you are already signed in to Slack. No password is entered or stored.
They are invoice collection tools: a web service, a desktop app and a Chrome extension. Reduck works from the AI agent you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor), so the same agent collects these invoices, your other SaaS invoices, and does your other web tasks.
Reduck is free for 100 script runs a month, then $20 a month for 1,000 runs or $100 a month for unlimited runs.
