LinkedIn keyword monitoring tools (2026): get alerts when someone posts about your keywords, 8 compared

Prompt template

Every morning, search LinkedIn for new posts that mention keywords. Drop the ones that are not really about them, and send me only the posts I have not seen yet, with the author, their headline, the reactions and the link.

Overview

LinkedIn keyword monitoring tools alert you when a new LinkedIn post mentions your brand, a competitor or a buying signal ("looking for a CRM", "anyone using Octolens?"). Sales teams use them for intent signals, marketers for brand mentions, founders to find the people who ask for a product like theirs.

LinkedIn itself has no such alert. Its help explains how to search member posts by keyword and filter them by date or author, but not how to save that search or be told about new posts. Its API has no post search either. So every tool on this page either collects LinkedIn from its own accounts, or searches LinkedIn as you.

Where each tool is stronger

  • KWatch.io: the fastest alerts, within a minute, and the lowest entry price, for one or a few keywords.
  • Octolens: many keywords across LinkedIn and other platforms, with API and MCP on every plan.
  • SnitchFeed: 10 keywords and the posts of chosen people and companies, at a lower price than Octolens.
  • filtrat: signals beyond posts: likes, comments, event attendees and job posts.
  • Brand24, Mentionlytics: brand listening across the web and social, with LinkedIn limited to your own pages.
  • Linked API: a LinkedIn search API for developers who build their own monitor.
  • Reduck: your AI agent searches LinkedIn as you, reads each post, drops the ones that are not about your keyword, and sends you the rest, with no price per keyword. Not real time.

How Reduck does it

  1. You ask your agent: "Every morning, search LinkedIn for new posts that mention 'looking for a CRM' or 'HubSpot alternative', and send me only the new ones."
  2. It runs search_posts for each keyword, sorted by newest, in your own Chrome, where you are signed in to LinkedIn. Each post comes with its text, author, headline, date, reactions, comments and link.
  3. It keeps the posts created since the last check, reads each one, and drops those that are not about your keyword.
  4. It sends you the matches. On request, it reads a post's comments with get_post_comments, or the author's profile with get_profile.

No API key, no LinkedIn app to register, and no subscription per keyword. A free LinkedIn account works, within LinkedIn's own monthly limit on searches.

How to start

  1. Create a free account at reduck.ai.
  2. Install the Reduck extension in Chrome and pair it.
  3. Connect Reduck to your agent: docs.reduck.ai.
  4. Ask: "Every morning, search LinkedIn for new posts that mention {keywords}. Drop the ones that are not really about them, and send me only the posts I have not seen yet, with the author, their headline, the reactions and the link."

FAQ

It depends on how fast you need to know and how many keywords you watch. For alerts within a minute, KWatch.io, from $19 a month for 1 LinkedIn keyword. For 10 keywords with hourly checks, SnitchFeed ($47 a month) or Octolens ($159 a month, billed annually), both with Slack, API and MCP. If a check once or twice a day is enough and you want your AI agent to read each post and drop the off-topic ones, Reduck searches LinkedIn from your own account, with no price per keyword.
No. LinkedIn's help explains how to search member posts by keyword and filter them by date, author or company, but it says nothing about saving that search or getting alerts for new posts. Saved searches with alerts exist in LinkedIn Recruiter and Sales Navigator, for people, not posts.
Not with alerts. KWatch.io's free plan has no LinkedIn keyword, Octolens has a 7-day trial, SnitchFeed and filtrat give free credits, and Brand24 and Mentionlytics have 14-day trials. LinkedIn's own post search is free but has no alerts. Reduck has a free tier: your agent runs the searches when you ask, or on a schedule your AI client sets.
Syften's site says it does not cover LinkedIn. EyeOut says it has no LinkedIn integration. Awario does not list LinkedIn among its sources. Trigify, used by many sales teams for LinkedIn signals, ended its standalone platform on October 22, 2026.
No. Brand24's help says its LinkedIn data comes from organization pages where you are a super admin: your own page's posts and comments, and posts that tag your organization. Mentionlytics says it reads the Business Pages you admin and LinkedIn pages that search engines index. Neither describes a search of all member posts by keyword.
Not real time. Your agent checks when you ask, or on a schedule you set in your AI client, for example every morning. Each check sorts LinkedIn's results by newest and keeps the posts created since the last check, so each post reaches you once.
LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits automated collection, and no tool can promise that LinkedIn will never act on an account. Hosted monitors collect LinkedIn from their own accounts. Reduck runs each search when your agent asks, one at a time, in your own Chrome, and only reads: it posts nothing.
