Search LinkedIn posts by keyword with Claude or ChatGPT and export them to CSV (2026)

Prompt template

Search LinkedIn for the latest posts about keyword, keep the ones where the author is looking for product or service, and export the text, author, link and reactions to a CSV.

Overview

LinkedIn posts are where people say they are hiring, switching tools or looking for help. Finding them by keyword is easy in LinkedIn's search box. Getting them out of it, into a list you can filter, share or feed to a CRM, is not.

Why it's hard

LinkedIn's API has no post search, and LinkedIn's own search has no export. So people copy posts by hand, or pay a scraper that runs on accounts and proxies that are not theirs, or that reads Google's copy of LinkedIn instead of LinkedIn. An AI agent asked to "find LinkedIn posts about X" searches the web and comes back with whatever Google indexed.

How Reduck does it

Reduck runs LinkedIn's own content search in your Chrome, where you are already signed in, and returns each post as data: its link, the author's name, headline and profile link, the full text, its age as LinkedIn shows it, and its reactions, comments and reposts. Your agent sorts by newest first or by relevance, keeps the posts that match what you asked for, and writes them to a CSV. It can then read the comments or the reactions of the posts it kept.

Tools

Script What it does Takes
search_posts Posts matching keywords, by relevance or newest first, up to 50 keywords, sort, how many
get_post_comments A post's comments with each author's headline and profile link its url, sort, how many

get_profile An author's full profile a public id

The full list of LinkedIn scripts is in the catalogue.

FAQ

No. LinkedIn's API has no endpoint that searches members' posts by keyword, at any tier open to the public. That is why every post search tool is either a scraper running its own accounts or proxies, or a browser that searches LinkedIn as you. Reduck is the second kind: search_posts types your keywords into LinkedIn's own content search, in your own signed-in tab.
Yes, for a few posts: search your keyword, pick Posts, and sort by Latest. LinkedIn shows no export button, so getting the text, the author and the link of 50 posts into a sheet means copying them one by one. search_posts runs the same search and returns those fields as data, so your agent can filter them, read them and write the CSV.
Yes, through the sort. With sortBy date_posted, search_posts returns the newest posts first, each with its age as LinkedIn shows it ('21 min', '9 h'), so your agent stops at the first post older than a day. It does not take a date window as an argument.
Most Apify actors search without a LinkedIn account and bill per 1,000 posts; some read Google's index of linkedin.com/posts pages instead of LinkedIn itself. Reduck searches LinkedIn as you see it, with your network and your language, and is called by your agent in plain words. It is slower: each post's link is read from LinkedIn's own 'Copy link to post' menu, one post at a time, so a search takes minutes, not seconds, and more the more posts you ask for.
LinkedIn's User Agreement and its page on scraping software prohibit automated collection, and no tool can promise that LinkedIn will never act on an account. Reduck does not run a crawler: each search runs only when you or your agent asks, one at a time, in your own Chrome. Keep the volume of a person reading LinkedIn, not of a data export.
Yes. get_post_comments reads a post's comments, newest first if you ask, with each author's name, headline and profile link, and get_post_reactors lists who reacted. Your agent can chain them after search_posts to see who is in the conversation.
Yes. Reduck connects to ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and any other MCP client. You ask in plain words, and the agent picks the LinkedIn scripts it needs.
