How to download OpenAI and ChatGPT invoices automatically (2026)

Prompt template

Download my ChatGPT and OpenAI API invoices for month and email them to accountant.

How to download OpenAI and ChatGPT invoices automatically

Download your OpenAI and ChatGPT invoices automatically with Reduck: your AI agent lists your ChatGPT plan invoices (Plus, Pro, Business) and your OpenAI API invoices, downloads the PDFs and emails them to your accountant. For founders and finance teams who pay OpenAI every month and need the invoice for the books.

TL;DR

  • Two kinds of OpenAI invoice: the ChatGPT plan, on chatgpt.com, and the API, on platform.openai.com.
  • One script lists each kind; one script downloads each PDF.
  • They run in your own signed-in Chrome, so no password leaves your computer.
  • Ask once a month, or for the whole year at once.
  • Reduck gives your AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) the scripts to do it, free for 100 runs a month.

ChatGPT invoices and OpenAI API invoices

OpenAI bills them separately, and many people look for one in the place of the other.

  • ChatGPT invoices (Plus, Pro, Business): in your ChatGPT settings. For Plus or Pro, Settings → Account → Payment → Manage, under Invoice History. For Business, workspace settings → Billing → Invoices.
  • OpenAI API invoices (usage and credits): on platform.openai.com, in the organization's Billing section, under Billing history.

A subscription bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play is not in either list: its receipt is in your app store purchase history.

Download OpenAI and ChatGPT invoices by hand

  1. For ChatGPT, open Settings, then Account, then Payment, then Manage, and find the invoice under Invoice History.
  2. For the API, open platform.openai.com, go to the organization's Billing section, and open Billing history.
  3. Open each invoice and download the PDF.
  4. Do it again for each workspace or organization, and each month.

Download OpenAI and ChatGPT invoices automatically with Reduck

  1. Connect your agent to Reduck. In Claude Code: claude mcp add reduck --transport http --scope user https://mcp.reduck.ai. In claude.ai or Claude Desktop, add a custom connector with the URL https://mcp.reduck.ai. ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients work too.
  2. Install the Reduck extension in the Chrome where you are signed in to ChatGPT and to the OpenAI API platform.
  3. Ask: "Download my ChatGPT and OpenAI API invoices for September and email them to [email protected]."
  4. The agent lists the invoices. The ChatGPT script reads the billing history of each account you belong to; the API script lists the invoices of your organization.
  5. It downloads the PDFs and emails them from your Gmail, or saves them in a folder.

The same agent downloads Claude, Cursor and Hugging Face invoices: see AI tool invoices and Claude invoices. For Notion, see Notion invoices. Comparing tools? See the GetMyInvoices alternative.

FAQ

For ChatGPT Plus or Pro, go to Settings, then Account, then Payment, then Manage: the billing portal lists your past invoices under Invoice History. For ChatGPT Business, open the workspace settings, then Billing, then Invoices. Each invoice opens on a Stripe page with the PDF.
On the OpenAI API platform (platform.openai.com), in the organization's Billing section, under Billing history. Individual and team customers find their invoices or receipts there; Enterprise customers download their monthly invoices from the same Billing section.
They are billed separately. A ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Business) is billed to your ChatGPT account or workspace. API usage and credits are billed to your OpenAI API organization on platform.openai.com. An invoice from one never shows up in the other, which is why there is one script for each.
OpenAI's help center gives three usual reasons. You are signed in to another account or workspace; your subscription was bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play, so the receipt is in your app store purchase history; or, for Business, you are not an owner of the workspace.
Yes. The ChatGPT script returns the full billing history of each account you belong to, and the OpenAI API script lists the invoices of the past 12 months, as the dashboard does. The agent then downloads each PDF.
The ChatGPT script lists every account you belong to, personal and Business, and says for each one whether its billing could be read. For the API, the script picks the organization you name, or the first one OpenAI offers.
No. The scripts run in your own Chrome, where you are already signed in to ChatGPT and to the API platform. No password is entered or stored.
Invoice Radar is a desktop app that logs in to OpenAI on your computer. Tailride is a Chrome extension that also works in your signed-in session. Reduck works from the AI agent you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor), so the same agent collects these invoices, your other SaaS invoices, and does your other web tasks.
Reduck is free for 100 script runs a month, then $20 a month for 1,000 runs or $100 a month for unlimited runs.
