Best AI tools to analyze your LinkedIn post analytics (2026): 8 compared, with Claude and ChatGPT

Prompt template

Read my last number of posts LinkedIn posts and the analytics of each one: impressions, members reached, comments, reposts, saves, sends and followers gained. Put them in one table, rank them by your goal, and tell me what my best posts have in common (topic, format, hook, length). Then suggest my next 5 posts.

Overview

Creators, founders and B2B marketers post on LinkedIn every week and want to know which posts work and why: which topics, formats and hooks bring impressions, comments, saves and followers. Most of them now ask Claude or ChatGPT to find the pattern. Both assistants give the same first answer: export your analytics from LinkedIn and upload the file.

This page compares the tools that do this with AI in 2026, after Shield, a LinkedIn analytics tool for personal profiles, wound down.

Why it's hard

  • The assistants cannot see your numbers. LinkedIn's post analytics are visible only to the author, after sign-in. Claude and ChatGPT start from nothing unless something brings the data in.
  • LinkedIn's export is partial and manual. Combined post analytics export as .XLSX for 7 to 365 days, the Post performance CSV needs "Load more" past the five newest posts, and both are desktop only. The data archive has your posts' text and date, with no impressions listed on LinkedIn's help page. Every new week needs a new download.
  • The tools ask for something. Some read LinkedIn's official API and keep the data on their servers; some are Chrome extensions; most connect to Claude or ChatGPT only on a paid plan.
  • One tool is gone. Shield's site is offline as of October 29, 2026, and its users had to move their history.

1. Reduck

Reduck gives your agent LinkedIn scripts that run in your own Chrome, where you are already signed in. whoami finds your profile, get_profile_posts lists your recent posts with their text and counts, and get_post_analytics opens each post's own analytics page and returns impressions, members reached, profile viewers, followers gained, reactions, comments, reposts, saves, sends, link visits and the top demographics. get_dashboard adds your overview: post impressions, followers, profile viewers and search appearances, with their change. The agent then does the analysis in the same chat. Weaker: it has no dashboard or stored history of its own, it reads one post at a time, and your Chrome must be open.

2. AuthoredUp

A Chrome extension for LinkedIn writing and analytics, for personal profiles and company pages. It says it pulls in your past posts with their analytics going back years, and it imports LinkedIn's data archive. Its MCP server works with Claude and ChatGPT on every plan, and it has CSV export and an Analytics API. AI writing (Coauthor) is in closed beta.

3. Taplio

An all-in-one LinkedIn tool: post generator, carousels, scheduling, an AI coach with a weekly action plan, and analytics with full history. Its MCP server, with tools for an analytics overview and per-post analytics, works with Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT. AI credits are 250 a month on Starter and Growth. Starter is $39 a month, Growth $69, Pro $199.

4. Supergrow

Built on LinkedIn's official API, for personal profiles and teams. It sends a weekly AI report (your best post and why, what to improve) and includes its MCP server on all plans. It imports Shield CSV data. Pro is $39 a month, or $31 billed yearly; Teams $199.

5. MagicPost

Reads LinkedIn's official API for personal profiles and company pages, with saves, link and profile clicks, followers gained, audience demographics and benchmarks against creators of the same size. CSV export and PDF reports. Its MCP for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity is on Creator (€59 a month) and above, not on Growth.

6. Postiv

Reads LinkedIn's official analytics API for personal and company pages, with up to 12 months of history. Its assistant, Bob, answers questions about your numbers with charts, and its MCP gives your own AI read access on Creator Pro, €49.50 a month billed yearly.

7. Metricool

A social media suite that covers LinkedIn profiles and pages among other networks, with PDF and PPT reports and official Claude and ChatGPT connectors. LinkedIn lets it read only about the last 90 days of posts before you connect. The free plan does not include LinkedIn; Starter starts at €20 a month.

8. LinkedIn's export with Claude or ChatGPT

Free and official: export your content analytics (.XLSX, 7 to 365 days) and the Post performance CSV from your creator analytics on desktop, then upload them to the assistant. The numbers are a snapshot: each new analysis needs a new export.

How to choose

  • You want a daily dashboard with years of history: AuthoredUp.
  • You want the official API and a team or company page: MagicPost, Postiv or Supergrow; Windsor.ai for company pages only.
  • You post on several networks: Metricool.
  • You want to ask Claude or ChatGPT about your posts, now, with no new account: Reduck, or LinkedIn's export if a one-time file is enough.

How Reduck does it

  1. It finds your posts. whoami returns your profile id, and get_profile_posts lists your recent posts with their text, age and counts.
  2. It reads each post's analytics. get_post_analytics opens the analytics page of each post you wrote and returns its numbers, the same ones you see.
  3. It analyzes them in the chat. Your agent ranks the posts by your goal, compares topics, formats, hooks and length, and suggests what to post next.

What you get: one table of your posts with their numbers, a short list of what your best posts have in common, and ideas for your next posts. Ask again each week to add the new ones.

How to start

  1. Create a free account at reduck.ai.
  2. Install the Reduck extension in Chrome and pair it.
  3. Connect Reduck to your agent: docs.reduck.ai.
  4. Ask: "Read my last {number of posts} LinkedIn posts and the analytics of each one: impressions, members reached, comments, reposts, saves, sends and followers gained. Put them in one table, rank them by {your goal}, and tell me what my best posts have in common (topic, format, hook, length). Then suggest my next 5 posts."

FAQ

It depends on where you want the analysis. For a dashboard you open every day, AuthoredUp has the deepest post history and Postiv and MagicPost read LinkedIn's official API. To ask Claude or ChatGPT about your own numbers, you need a tool that brings the data into the chat: an MCP server from one of these tools, or Reduck, which lets your agent read each post's analytics page in your own Chrome, with no export and no separate account.
Not on their own: LinkedIn's post analytics are visible only to you, after you sign in. You can upload LinkedIn's export file, connect a tool's MCP server (AuthoredUp, Taplio, Supergrow, MagicPost, Postiv and Metricool each have one), or connect Reduck, whose scripts read the analytics in your own signed-in Chrome when the agent asks.
Shield, a LinkedIn analytics tool for personal profiles, has wound down: its site is offline as of October 29, 2026. Most tools in this comparison now present themselves as a Shield alternative. If you want to keep your history, choose a tool that imports it; AuthoredUp says its extension pulls in past posts going back years, and Supergrow imports Shield CSV data.
Yes, with limits. LinkedIn's creator analytics export content and audience analytics as an .XLSX file for a range of 7 to 365 days, and a Post performance file as CSV, on desktop only. LinkedIn's data archive (Download your data) has your posts with their date, URL and text, and LinkedIn's help page lists no impressions in it.
get_post_analytics returns the post's impressions, members reached, profile viewers, followers gained, reactions, comments, reposts, saves, sends and link visits, and the top demographic bucket per category (location, seniority, company size, industry, job title, company). Older or low-reach posts can lack some of them, as on LinkedIn's own page. get_dashboard adds your post impressions, followers, profile viewers and search appearances with their change.
Only their public numbers. LinkedIn shows the analytics of a post only to its author, so get_post_analytics refuses a post that is not yours. For any profile, get_profile_posts returns the recent posts with their text, age and reaction, comment and repost counts, which is enough to compare formats and topics.
The scripts on this page read the posts you write on your personal profile. For a company page, MagicPost, Postiv and Metricool cover both, and Windsor.ai connects LinkedIn Pages to Claude through LinkedIn's API, with up to 10 years of history from $19 a month billed yearly.
LinkedIn's help page on prohibited software says it does not permit third-party software or browser extensions that scrape or automate activity on its site. Supergrow, MagicPost, Postiv and Metricool use LinkedIn's official API instead. Reduck runs no crawler and sends no cookie to a server: each script reads a page you can open yourself, in your own Chrome, only when you or your agent asks. Read your own posts at the pace of a person.
Yes. Reduck connects to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any other MCP client. You ask in plain words, and the agent picks the LinkedIn scripts it needs.
