Export X (Twitter) analytics to CSV per post (2026)

Prompt template

Export the analytics of my last count X posts to a CSV, with impressions, engagements, profile visits and link clicks, and tell me which posts performed best.

Overview

You want a spreadsheet of your X posts with their impressions and engagements, to see what worked. The export button is gone from where it used to be, the Post Activity Dashboard asks for an ads account, each CSV stops at 30 days, and most answers you find say to pay for X Premium or a third-party tool.

Why it's hard

X shows a post's impressions, engagements, profile visits and link clicks only to its author, on that post's analytics panel. Getting them out at scale means X's ads dashboard (30 days and 3,000 posts per file), the X API (a developer app and paid credits), or a third-party tool you connect to your account.

How Reduck does it

Reduck runs in your own Chrome, where you are already signed in to X. Your agent lists your posts with get_user_posts, opens the analytics panel of each one with get_post_analytics, and writes one row per post: the text, the date, the impressions, the engagements, the profile visits, the link clicks, the likes, the reposts and the replies. Then it reads the table with you: which posts got the most impressions, the best engagement rate, the most clicks.

What your agent does

  1. Lists your latest posts with get_user_posts: id, link, text, date, views, likes, reposts, replies, quotes, bookmarks.
  2. Reads the analytics panel of each post with get_post_analytics: impressions, engagements, detail expands, profile visits, link clicks.
  3. Joins them into one CSV, one row per post.
  4. Ranks the posts and tells you what the best ones have in common.

What one post's analytics look like, from a test on our own account, which has no X Premium:

Metric Value
Impressions 21
Engagements 3
Detail expands 0
Profile visits 1
Link clicks 2

FAQ

Yes, in the Post Activity Dashboard, which X's help center says you open with an ads account at ads.x.com or by registering at analytics.x.com. Its CSV export covers 30 days at a time, with at most 3,000 posts per file. X also says the dashboard can show no data for an account it finds in breach of its rules. Reduck does not use that dashboard: it reads the analytics panel of each of your posts.
For each post, the metrics X shows on its own "View post analytics" panel: impressions, engagements, detail expands, profile visits and link clicks, plus the post's likes, reposts and replies. get_user_posts adds views, quotes and bookmarks for every post on the list. The set of metrics depends on the post: a post with no link has no link clicks.
Only the public numbers. X shows impressions, engagements and clicks to the author of a post and to no one else, so get_post_analytics works only on posts of the account signed in to your Chrome. For another account, get_user_posts exports each post's views, likes, reposts, replies, quotes and bookmarks.
get_user_posts lists your posts newest first, as far as X's Posts tab scrolls, and get_post_analytics reads one post at a time. We tested it on a post from the last 30 days. We have not documented how X's panel behaves on much older posts.
They are the numbers X displays. X shortens large counts ("1.2K"), so a large value can be approximate. The script returns both the display text and the parsed number. X sometimes shows a Retry error on the panel: run it again.
We tested it on an account without X Premium (no checkmark), and each post's analytics panel opened and was read. There is no developer app, no API key and no credit balance either: you stay signed in to X in your own Chrome, and the Reduck extension reads the pages there.
Yes. Reduck is an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and any other MCP client can run its X scripts. Ask in plain words; the agent lists your posts, reads each one's analytics and writes the CSV.
