Overview
B2B sales and customer success teams know that a past customer who starts at a new company is one of the warmest leads they can get: that person already uses the product and now has a new budget. Founders and small sales teams with a few hundred past buyers, power users and lost-deal contacts want to hear about each move in the same week, write first, and keep the old account covered when their champion leaves it.
What they want: one list each week of who moved, where to, and who took their place, with a first message ready to approve.
Why it's hard
- LinkedIn's free notifications are partial. LinkedIn tells your network about a new job only when the person leaves "Share profile updates" switched on, and only your connections see it, mixed into the feed. There is no list of everyone who moved, and nothing to export.
- Sales Navigator watches only the leads you saved. Its job change alerts need each contact saved as a lead and two alert settings switched on. Core costs US$119.99 a month a licence, and the alerts stay inside Sales Navigator unless you pay for Advanced Plus, which is priced on request.
- There is no LinkedIn API for this. LinkedIn gives no public endpoint or webhook for a member's job change, so every tool reads LinkedIn data in some way, often days or weeks late.
- The dedicated tools are built for big CRMs. UserGems lists Core at $40,000 a year plus a $3,000 implementation fee. Champify Lite starts at $500 a month, for 5,000+ contacts, as a Salesforce package with no native HubSpot integration. Clay has job change signals on Launch, not on its Free plan, and you build the workflow yourself.
- Enrichment re-checks everyone. CRM enrichment pays per contact checked, so a team pays every month for the people who did not move to find the few who did.
How Reduck does it
Your AI agent runs Reduck's LinkedIn scripts in your own Chrome, where you are already signed in. It needs no API key and no data provider, and it sends no cookie to a server.
- It reads your list. You give it LinkedIn profile URLs with the company where you know each person (an export from your CRM or a sheet), or the id of a Sales Navigator lead list.
- It checks where each person works now. get_profile returns the current company and its LinkedIn id, and the full experience list with titles and start months. It reads the profile without recording a profile view. With a Sales Navigator seat, sales_navigator_export_lead_list returns every lead of the list with their current title and company in one call, and says when the export is complete.
- It flags who moved. It compares the current company with the one in your list, and separates a move to a new company from a new title at the same company.
- It finds the replacement. get_company_info gives the old company's LinkedIn id, and search_people lists the people who work there now with the title you name, so you know who to talk to at the old account.
- It drafts, and sends only after your OK. For each person who moved, it writes a short message about their new role. send_message sends the ones you approve to 1st-degree connections and open profiles, with a dry run first if you want one.
What you get: each week, one list of the people on your list who changed company or title, with their new company, start month and profile, the person who now holds their role at the old account, and a draft message for each. Ask again each Monday, or after each CRM export. If your agent also has a CRM or Google Sheets connector, it can write the list there.
How to start
- Create a free account at reduck.ai.
- Install the Reduck extension in Chrome and pair it.
- Connect Reduck to your agent: docs.reduck.ai.
- Ask: "Here is my list of past customers and champions: {LinkedIn profile URLs with the company where I know them, or my Sales Navigator lead list}. Check on LinkedIn where each one works now and list everyone who moved to a new company, with their new title and company. For each one, find who now holds their role at the old company, and draft a short message to the person who moved. Send nothing until I say so."

Where the others are stronger: Champify and UserGems write every move back to Salesforce or HubSpot on their own, for lists of thousands. Bingle and Sales Navigator watch in the background with no prompt. Reduck checks when your agent asks, your Chrome must be open, and LinkedIn's own limits keep it to a few hundred profiles a week.
