Get Product Hunt product
Read a Product Hunt product page and return its profile: name, tagline, full description, the outbound website link, the categories it is listed under, its review rating and review count, how many times it has launched, its makers with their Product Hunt profiles, and any Top Product or Golden Kitty awards. Accepts either the product slug or a full Product Hunt product URL. Follower counts are returned exactly as the page displays them (Product Hunt rounds them, e.g. "18K") alongside a numeric approximation. An unknown product is reported as such rather than returned as an empty record.
Get Product Hunt launch comments
Read the comment thread on a Product Hunt launch. Returns each comment with its author (name, handle, profile id and the product they are credited to), the text, its upvote count, when it was posted, whether it is pinned, and how deeply it is nested so replies stay attached to what they answer. Accepts a full launch URL or a "product/launch" slug pair. Product Hunt's headline comment tally on a launch counts more items than the thread actually renders, so both numbers are returned side by side rather than presenting the visible ones as the complete set. An unknown launch is reported as such.
Get current Product Hunt user
Report which Product Hunt account this browser is signed in as: the @username, display name, numeric user id and profile URL, read from the header's own signed-in avatar. Being signed out is reported as a normal answer (loggedIn false), not an error, so it can be used to check a session before running other Product Hunt scripts.
