Read a Product Hunt product page and return its profile: name, tagline, full description, the outbound website link, the categories it is listed under, its review rating and review count, how many times it has launched, its makers with their Product Hunt profiles, and any Top Product or Golden Kitty awards. Accepts either the product slug or a full Product Hunt product URL. Follower counts are returned exactly as the page displays them (Product Hunt rounds them, e.g. "18K") alongside a numeric approximation. An unknown product is reported as such rather than returned as an empty record.

Read the comment thread on a Product Hunt launch. Returns each comment with its author (name, handle, profile id and the product they are credited to), the text, its upvote count, when it was posted, whether it is pinned, and how deeply it is nested so replies stay attached to what they answer. Accepts a full launch URL or a "product/launch" slug pair. Product Hunt's headline comment tally on a launch counts more items than the thread actually renders, so both numbers are returned side by side rather than presenting the visible ones as the complete set. An unknown launch is reported as such.
Remove a Product Hunt launch upvote
Withdraw the signed-in account's upvote from a Product Hunt launch. This is the inverse of upvoting one, and it is written the same careful way: because Product Hunt's vote control is a toggle, the script first checks whether an upvote actually exists and does nothing if it does not, instead of pressing the control and accidentally adding one. The result reports the account used, whether there was no vote to remove, the score afterwards, and confirmation read back from Product Hunt's own response rather than from the button. Accepts a full launch URL or a "product/launch" slug pair.
