Search Crunchbase News
TL;DR
About
Pick a section from the Crunchbase News nav, such as fintech, ai or public/ipo, or type a search term, and you get a page of articles from the site's RSS feeds, newest first, each with a short summary. The summary is the excerpt the editors publish in the feed, often a sentence or two, not the first paragraph of the article. A typical use is a weekly fintech check: an associate at a fund pulls page 1 of the fintech section every Monday and drops any url already in last week's sheet. Page 1 spans several weeks, so few stories are new. Headlines that name a round size go to get_article for the full text. Search matches anywhere in the article body and sorts by date, not relevance, so roundups that mention a term once also match. Dates arrive as RSS strings such as Thu, 01 Oct 2026 13:55:55 +0000, so parse them first.
