limit optionalMax events to return per call. Default 25.
topic optionalCategory slug to filter by (e.g. "crypto", "arts-culture", "fitness"). Mutually exclusive with city. Some categories are only served per-place and cannot be browsed globally; those fail naming the slug, and the way to browse them is `city`.
cursor optionalPagination cursor from a previous call's next_cursor.
latitude optionalOptional latitude to bias/sort results by proximity. Only affects ordering — it does NOT satisfy a category that Luma serves per-place.

Register the signed-in Luma account for a free public event by its slug. If the event asks for a phone number, a random one is used automatically. Only fails loudly on events that aren't free, aren't open for registration, or ask custom registration questions this script doesn't support. This signs you up as an attendee under your real identity, so confirm the event with the person you're helping before running it — cancelling afterward is a separate action.
Cancel registration for a Luma event
Cancel the signed-in Luma account's registration for an event by its slug. An event you were never registered for, or already cancelled on, is reported as such rather than an error. This notifies the event organizer that you won't attend, so confirm the event with the person you're helping before running it — re-registering afterward is a separate action.
Get events from a Luma calendar
List the past or future events published under a specific Luma calendar/organizer (e.g. "AITinkerers"), paginated.
